Real Thang vs. Knockoff (Accessories)

A couple of jewelry pieces for your knockoff entertainment. Neither is a perfect match, but depending on what you're attracted to in the original, you may be OK with the cheaper versions.

THE REAL THANG...

Crackled Bluewings Cuff at Anthro ($88)
I love the color of this bracelet, and it makes quite a statement, no? They have a product pic on a model's wrist, and it definitely is one big, honkin' cuff. I keep reading that statement bracelets are next to capture the fashion world's fancy so this should be right on par.

THE KNOCKOFF...

Shell Stretch Bracelet at NY&Company in light blue ($14.95)
I saw this bracelet in store and really liked it. It's not nearly as big as the Anthro version, but it's a very pretty turquoise color (and the bow on this bracelet is cute and feminine, NOT big and clunky like the product pic would have you believe...).

THE REAL THANG...

Fish-Out-Of-Water Necklace at Anthro ($38)
Currently on backorder until April 27. This necklace has been flamed in the reviews section, mostly because the fish is apparently much too big (details say 3.5 inches). Gold chain.

THE KNOCKOFF...

Fishy Necklace at Forever 21 ($5.80)
Again, less of a statement than the original, but the same cutesy feel without the price tag. The chain (silver) is 20 inches long, and the pendant is 1.8 inches high by 1.7 inches wide.
